Young scientists from Toruń win Diamond Grants

Three young scientists from the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun won the “Diamond Grants” of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Hubert Joachim Jóźwiak from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Informatics will receive PLN 189 553 for the project “Collision effects in the hyperfine structure of the hydrogen molecule – a fundamental problem of modern molecular spectroscopy”.

Olgierd Borowiecki from the Interdisciplinary Center of Modern Technologies raised PLN 179 854 for the project “Imaging praxies – or the cerebral basis of procedural cognitive skills is identical to the cerebral basis of procedural motor skills? – fMRI test “.

Aleksandra Bogumiła Florkiewicz from the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection will get PLN 182,443 for “Searching for soil drought stress markers used in the selection of yellow lupine varieties with increased yield potential”.
