From 27 to 30 March 2019, the 19th Tischner’s Days will take place in Krakow, under the title „Man. New challenges”. The event is organized by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in cooperation with the Krakow Academy of Theater Arts, the Institute of Józef Tischner, the Social Publishing Institute Znak and the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow.

Three main topics will be discussed during the event. The lecture on the challenges of medicine, especially technology and ethics in technology will be delivered by an outstanding transplantologist Prof. Marek Krawczyk, with the discussion in the “Cave of Philosophers”. The second topic includes thinking about the condition of a man and the last topic will concern news, violence and hatred. The Tischner’s text “How to break the spiral of hatred?” became the inspiration for the organizers.
