The results of the competitive recruitment process for bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) have been announced. This year, more than 7 500 candidates applied – almost 2 500 more than last year.
The most popular faculties in this year’s recruitment are: medical studies, psychology, Italian studies in remote mode, criminology, nursing, management, English philology and law.
‘Such a great interest in the offer of studies is a very good signal for us,’ says the Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin, Rev. Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski.
Almost 1.5 thousand candidates have applied to study at the newly created medical faculty at KUL. Sixty people will be accepted to study medicine, so almost 25 people applied for one place, which makes this faculty the most popular during this year’s enrolment.
Apart from that, the following majors are also in the lead: psychology – 7.56 candidates/place, hybrid Italian studies – 5.65, criminology – 5.36, nursing – 5.10.
