In Krakow, on October 15-16, 2014, a conference took place that summarized 25 years of cooperation between the Krakow University of Technology and the College of Architecture and Design at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville – one of the best public schools in the United States.
The Tennessee program is the longest running exchange program offered to architecture students in the United States and Poland. To date, over 600 students have used the possibility of student exchange as part of the Tennessee Program.
During the conference, Prof. Eng. Jan Kazior, rector of the Krakow University of Technology, handed jubilee medals to deans of partner schools. Professor Scott Poole, dean of the College of Architecture and Design, University of Tennessee and Prof. Jason Young, director of the Architecture Program, University of Tennessee presented their experiences related to their scientific and didactic work.
