Applications will be accepted until 25 July 2023 for the 2nd De Republica Institute Prizes for outstanding scientific achievements in the humanities and social sciences.

The aim of the De Republica Institute Prize is to support and promote the most talented young scholars conducting research in the humanities and social sciences, as well as to recognise outstanding Polish scientists who, through their passion, work and discoveries, are or become an inspiration for younger generations.

The distinction awarded by the De Republica Institute is of an honourable and educational nature. Its role is to highlight the reputation and uniqueness of the contribution of all laureates to the development of Polish science.

The competition comprises three categories: humanities, social sciences and international activities in the humanities or social sciences. An additional, separate distinction is the Special Award for lifetime achievement in the humanities or social sciences.
