The Botanical Garden of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in Powsin and the Krakow Speakers Association are organizing the 2nd Tournament of Ecological and Climate Debates, with its final taking place on March 21, 2020, on the first day of spring, at the PAS Botanical Garden in Powsin.

The secondary schools pupils will take a part in so-called Oxford debates, and the aim of the project is providing a discussion on climate change. First regional parts of the tournament will take place in Krakow (February 22), Poznań (February 29) and Warsaw (March 7).

First educational tournaments through Oxford debates have been held in Poland since 1995. Their goal for students is to practice difficult art of speaking, paying attention to socially important topics and improving the quality of public debate.
