The Polish-American Fulbright Commission has announced a list of laureates of the BioLAB Program. 43 students will attend one-year research internships in the scientific centers of the United States.

The BioLAB program is intended for students of master’s and doctoral studies in biology, chemistry and medicine. During the internship, students join research teams conducting projects in such fields as neurology, crystallography, virology and molecular genetics.

This year 102 applications were submitted with 43 students representing 15 colleges qualified for the internships. Most of them are students from the University of Warsaw (11), the Jagiellonian University (6) and the University of Wrocław (6). They will go to one of the renowned research centers in the USA: Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, University of Chicago, University of Texas, Southwestern Medical and Center University of Virginia.
