The Institute of Psychology at the University of Silesia is organizing the 4th national scientific conference in the Katowice Psychometric Meetings series. The conference, which will be held on 14 and 15 March at the Center for Scientific Information and the Academic Library will focus on the problem of the construction of psychological tests.

The aim of the conference is to reflect on the changes occurring within psychometry over the years, as well as to disseminate knowledge about optimal strategies for the design of research and diagnostic tools.

The meeting will be an opportunity to compare the methods used in the construction and adaptation of psychological tests, analysis of possible applications of these tools in education, business and the labor market or the use of advanced statistical methods in the preparation of such tests.
