The Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Maria Curie Skłodowska in Lublin, the Polish Political Sciences Society and the Political Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences organize the Fourth National Political Science Congress, which will be held from 18 to 20 September.

The theme of the Congress is “The State in Times of Change”. According to Aneta Adamska, spokesman of the Lublin university, the participants of the event will focus on the basic, “traditional” politological categories of state and power, taking into account the dynamics and variability of qualitatively new features of the social environment in the states.

726 researchers from 85 research centers will participate in the Lublin Congress, of which 30 participants represent foreign universities. The participation in the commencement of the event was announced by Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Science and Higher Education. The inaugural lecture will be given by Prof. Stefano Guzzini, outstanding German-French political scientist, specialized in the theory of international relations.
