The organizers of the 6th Professor Elżbieta Tarkowska Competition: Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Academy of Special Education Maria Grzegorzewska, the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences – the publisher of the “Culture and Society” quarterly, and the Polish Sociological Society, are inviting to submit scientific papers published in 2020 and 2021 on the phenomenon of poverty and the social exclusion until September 20.

Papers submitted for the competition should be published as reviewed scientific monographs, reviewed articles in Polish scientific journals or chapters in reviewed collective monographs.

One prize of PLN 3,000 will be awarded in the competition. As the organizers point out, the prize will be granted to a work of particular importance for shaping the scientific and public debate on poverty and social exclusion in Poland.
