Nine students from Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań and Kraków, were awarded the Student Nobel Prize 2021 on Sunday, May 23.
This year, the best students received awards in nine categories.
The winner in the Physics and Astronomy category is Jan Chojnacki (University of Warsaw), in Art – Katarzyna Nachman (University of Silesia in Katowice). Julia Orłowska (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań) was recognized for her social activity.
The winner in the Social Sciences category was Michał Wiktor Gębicki (University of Silesia in Katowice), Life Sciences and Energy – Kacper Prokop (University of Wrocław), Medicine and Pharmacy – Wojciech Szlas (Wrocław Medical University), Economic Sciences – Szymon Jarosz (Cracow University of Economics), Technical Sciences – Justyna Pelc (Wrocław University of Science and Technology), and in the Journalism and Literature category – Antonina Tosiek (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań).
The winners were selected by the National Competition Commission of 33 professors from Polish universities.
