Professor Alberto Molinari from the University of Trento received an honorary doctorate from the Krakow University of Technology (PK). The Italian scientist is one of the most outstanding and most active researchers in the world in the field of powder metallurgy.

The 35-year research activity of Prof. Molinari resulted in over 500 publications in international and national scientific journals and conference materials.

He made a huge contribution to the development of world materials science, especially to the development of low-alloy sintered construction materials and the development of methodologies for optimization of key technological processes in the powder metallurgy industry – emphasized in the laudation the rector of PK Prof. Jan Kazior.
