Poznań University of Economics has signed a contract for the modernization of energy system of Collegium Altum. Due to the shape of the building, but also because of its unusual technological solutions, reconstruction is very expensive and extremely difficult to maintain.

The investment is aimed at improving work safety, but also at implementing a number of additional benefits – including improving work comfort through more efficient ventilation ensuring standard air exchange and better lighting with modern LED lamps will ensure even light distribution, a more stable room temperature in summer and winter.

The total cost of the investment will amount to almost PLN 41 million and works will start in January 2020. During the works, asbestos cement panels will be also removed from the building. The university took care of meeting all required standards working with asbestos-containing materials and provided additional security measures.
