Dr Kinga Łapot-Dzierwa, Prof. of Pedagogical University (UP) in Krakow, received the International Leonardo da Vinci Award. The gala took place on January 25 at the Borghese Palace in Florence.

The award was granted by “Art International Contemporary Magazine” to artists from around the world distinguished by their creative activity and passion.
Dr Kinga Łapot-Dzierwa is a graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Kielce – of the class of artistic fabric. She graduated from the School of Pedagogy in the field of art education.

In 2010, she obtained the title of habilitated doctor of fine arts in the discipline of fine arts at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
Since 1995, she has been working at the Institute of Pre-school and School Pedagogy of the Pedagogical University in Krakow.
