On February 27, 2020 the Białystok University of Technology (PB) will hold a solemn meeting of the PB Senate, during which Professor Jozef Živčák will receive the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, and Professor Jan Ryszard Dąbrowski – the title of Honorary Professor.

Professor Jozef Živčák from the Technical University in Košice is a scholar of recognized international authority, a pioneer in the development and implementation of custom-made implants using generative techniques. He is the author of numerous solutions in the field of design and production of clinical implementation, has made an indisputable contribution to the development of science and technology of fitted implants.

Professor Jan R. Dąbrowski is a longtime scholar of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, a scholar of high rank in domestic and foreign environments, an integrator of the scientific environment and research in the field of tribology and material engineering.
