Dr Magdalena Broda from the wood technology faculty of the Poznań University of Life Sciences has been awarded a scholarship as part of the prestigious Fulbright Senior Award 2020-21.

Fulbright Senior Award scholarships are awarded by way of competition to academic and research and teaching staff of universities, research institutes, scientific units of the Polish Academy of Sciences, international scientific institutes and other scientific units in Poland for the implementation of their own research projects at American universities and institutes.

The Fulbright Program is the largest scientific and cultural exchange program in the United States. For over 70 years, it has been supporting cooperation for the development of science, culture and interpersonal and interinstitutional relations between the United States and over 160 countries. As part of it, American researchers and experts have the opportunity to come and stay in Poland.
