Two scientists from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK) won the Scholarships Program of Bekker. The competition was organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
Thanks to the funding, Dr Dominik Antonowicz, Prof. of The Nicolaus Copernicus University will implement the project “College Councils at Canadian Universities” at the University of Toronto in Canada, and Prof. Mirosława Buchholtz will go to Germany, where at the Internationale Jungendbibliothek / International Youth Library she will implement the project “The future of literature and literary studies: from children’s literature to digital humanities”.
Under the Program, researchers and academic teachers employed at Polish universities and research units may receive financial support for postdoctoral internships, conducting scientific research or obtaining materials for scientific work in renowned foreign centers.
