The suspension of the university operation will be extended until April 10 – announced on Saturday, March 21, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin at a press conference. The decision is caused by the introduction of the state of the epidemic in Poland.

The deputy prime minister emphasized that this is the suspension of the university’s operation, not its closure. Online activity should be continued as widely as possible – as it happened last week. Where it is possible, scientific research should also be continued. The university authorities are obliged to ensure the operation of basic organizational organizations – noted Minister Jarosław Gowin.

Deputy Minister of Science Anna Budzanowska stressed that online work is now compulsory. This obligation applies to student education, post-graduate studies, extramural studies and doctoral studies.
