Classes at the Silesian University of Technology are conducted only via the Remote Education Platform. Having an e-learning account on the Platform and using it has become a prerequisite for getting credit.

The number of studies realized at the University in remote mode is constantly growing. From March 16, when the university turned to remote education, there is a very dynamic increase in the courses available on the Platform. Students can use more than several hundred new studies per day.

The University of Technology makes every effort to ensure that the organization of remote classes runs smoothly. Monitoring of the system’s operation is carried out to assure the correct information transfer without interference. Currently, the number of items on the Platform is about 3,000, and the average daily number of students and teachers logins is about 30,000.
