Jagiellonian University in Kraków launches virtual exploration of the Museum

“Being unable to host our guests in the honorable walls of Collegium Maius, we are preparing a program that will allow to get closer to the Museum of the Jagiellonian University (UJ) without leaving homes. Our activities do not cease. In the new virtual reality, we are pursuing our goals, trying to develop a new model remote cooperation. The effects of these activities will soon be visible,” – reports the management of the Jagiellonian University Museum.

The Museum has presented on its Facebook profile a collection of portraits of professors from the oldest Polish university, the history of the Professor’s Garden was presented, and the biography of the outstanding mathematician Prof. Stefan Banach.

The staff also prepared many historical curiosities, including plans to build a university in Kazimierz near Kraków or hygiene issues in the Middle Ages. Also, those participants who visited the profile of the Jagiellonian University Museum could take part in the prize competition.
