The University Hospital (SU) in Krakow has launched a Cobas 6800 analyzer that will allow to conduct more than 1,400 tests for coronavirus infection per day.

This will significantly speed up responding to the needs, because samples of potentially sick persons come from the entire Małopolska province.

-We were able to introduce procedures that allow completely automatic testing. In addition, their results will be visible in the electronic system, which will speed up the process of their providing – emphasizes Marcin Jędrychowski, SU director and adds that the device of Roche brand has arrived in Krakow due to the fact that the facility he manages is one of its most important partners of this manufacturer in Poland.
