The Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) has decided to help Lublin doctors combating the coronavirus. The university organized a fundraising for the purchase of a specialized car for sanitary transport for the Independent Public Provincial Hospital in Lublin. They need 100,000 PLN.
The Department of Infectious Diseases is hospitalizing the youngest patients with coronavirus. Thanks to public support, the hospital will receive several respirators, but there are many more needs – explains the KUL Development Foundation, which is organizing a fundraising for the hospital.
The hospital managers are planning to purchase for collected money a car Toyota proace verso worth PLN 99,980, which will be used to transport children suffering from COVID-19 and being under observation in the Department of Infectious Diseases. It will also transport biological materials for testing on COVID-19 also for the Children’s Isolation Hospital, which will be launched soon.
Fr. Prof. Antoni Dębiński, rector of the Catholic University of Lublin appealed for help and involvement in the fundraising. The KUL Development Foundation is running the fundraising on the portal zrzutka.pl under the slogan JAZDA Z POMOCĄ – SZPITAL im. JANA BOŻEGO w LUBLINIE CZEKA!
