Researchers at the Silesian University of Technology are working on another adapter that can be combined with the latest sports mask model. The production of adapters is carried out in response to the needs of hospitals regarding protective masks.

After completing the production of two new types of adapters, used to create protective masks, including the combination of diving mask and HEPA filter, the scientists started works on another type of adapter, designed to be a part of the Decathlon Subea 500 mask.

The new adapter will allow the connection of two HEPA filters, improving the performance of the protective mask, which will provide much better breathing for its user. It consists of two elements – the correct adapter and lock, which are produced using 3D printing technology.
