The Minister of Science and Higher Education Wojciech Murdzek met the Council of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The meeting was attended by the newly appointed NAWA director – Dr Grażyna Żebrowska.

-NAWA is a stable institution with a shaped internal structure and regulated procedures. After a period of creating its rich offer and developing a cooperation with universities receiving NAWA scholarship holders, it becomes a mature agency ready to respond to contemporary challenges and problems faced by the science and higher education sector – said Minister of Science and Higher Education Wojciech Murdzek.

The head of the Ministry of Science emphasized that “especially in the face of a pandemic, it is important to cooperate closely with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and other governmental agencies, so that the actions taken by individual institutions give a synergy effect.”

The NAWA Director Dr Grażyna Żebrowska emphasized that “despite the difficult epidemic situation, NAWA will support universities in maintaining international contacts and building their brand in the world.”
