From the academic year 2020/2021, Transport will be a new course at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz).

Students will be educated in four basic groups of teaching modules: transport systems and transport logistics, traffic management, transport infrastructure and means of transport.

Education in the field of Transport will be implemented in two specialties: rail transport and road transport. Apprenticeships and diploma theses will be implemented in cooperation with the local transport administration.

The direction was created as a result of the agreement between the rector of PRz and the president of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. on establishing cooperation to educate engineers for the railway industry. The education plan in the new direction has been adapted to the needs of PKP PLK S.A. as a potential future employer of graduates.
