The capital city of Warsaw is starting an application process for the second scholarship program of the Capital City of Warsaw for PhD students from Warsaw universities.

Scholarships are awarded to young scientists who will propose the implementation of a research project in one of the areas indicated by the City of Warsaw. The list of research areas is available at: www.um.warszawa.pl/SDD.

In addition to financial support, the scholarship holder will receive the assistance of a professional employee of the office, including facilitating access to data and studies available at the office, or assisting in completing the formalities needed to conduct the study.

The results of successfully implemented scholarship research projects will be used in shaping urban policies. The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is 8 July this year.

The total maximum grant amount is PLN 30,000. The scholarship award period depends on the duration of the research project, up to a maximum of 12 months.
