Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan among 15 Polish universities in QS World University Ranking

The recently published QS World University. The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (UAM) is also enlisted in this prestigious list of the best universities in the world, included 15 high schools from Poland.

The University’s strongest advantage was “the university’s reputation in the academic community”, which placed UAM in the 501+ range. The UAM is also systematically moving upwards, because this year it is positioned in the 68% group of the best universities in the QS ranking (for comparison, in 2018 it was in the 81.7% group). In general, the Poznań university maintained a stable position in the range of 801-1000.

The QS ranking is one of the most recognizable and prestigious rankings. It is based on several parameters including the university’s reputation in the academic world, the university’s reputation among employers, the ratio of the number of lecturers to the number of students, the normalized number of citations per employee and the percentage of employees and students from abroad.
