The National Science Center (NCN) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) are continuing their existing cooperation based on the organization of joint competitions for Polish-German research projects, covering all disciplines in 2020. The call for applications will start on September 15, 2020.

The BEETHOVEN CLASSIC 4 call for proposals will be a continuation of the BEETHOVEN CLASSIC 3 call based on a joint content-related assessment of applications for financing Polish-German research projects by Expert Teams selected by the National Science Center and DFG as well as external experts. In the competition, participants can submit applications for funding of Polish-German research projects in the field of humanities, social sciences and art.

The call for applications for Polish-German research projects in the field of life sciences, science and technology will be opened by NCN as part of the OPUS 20 call for proposals, in which the NCN will act as the leading agency responsible for the substantive evaluation of applications.
