Dr Lech Kolasiński put typhlographics, i.e. convex teaching boards dedicated in particular to people with visual disabilities in the Botanical Garden of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

The originator and author of the boards is Dr Lech Kolasiński from the Pedagogical University in Krakow. The task was carried out as part of one of the projects financed by the European Union funds.

Accessibility of science and culture for people with disabilities was the subject of the doctoral dissertation of Dr Lech Kolasiński. The author claimed that the educational paths created in new institutions do not take into account social groups with disabilities.

The newly created educational path at Kopernik street in Krakow consists of porcelain typhlographs with information in Braille to help visually impaired and blind people see the plan of the Botanical Garden of the Jagiellonian University and the most interesting specimens.
