Postgraduate studies “Application of modern hydrology methods in water engineering and management” will start in October at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Agriculture in Krakow (URK).
The studies are aimed at improving and deepening the knowledge of hydrology and water management in the scope enabling the design of hydrotechnical devices and the implementation of the so-called Framework of the Water Directive and the Floods Directive.
The studies are addressed at people who have completed higher education (engineering, BA or MA programs). They are dedicated mainly to employees of the National Water Management Authority or in the environmental protection departments of marshal and voivodship offices as well as to designers of hydrotechnical, water-drainage and engineering communication facilities (bridges and culverts).
Graduates of higher education studies, especially of technical and technical-natural sciences, and studies of earth sciences may also be interested in taking up postgraduate studies.
