On August 28, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology held a conference to summarize the project “PLUGinEV – Electric vehicle charging system integrated with lighting infrastructure”, financed by the National Center for Research and Development.

The project was implemented by the consortium of Lublin University of Technology (as its leader) and PGE Dystrybucja S.A. The works lasted over 4 years, involving nearly 40 people from both institutions.

The main goal of the conference was to present the product, which is a station for two-way energy transfer, integrated with the lighting infrastructure, which meets the requirements of an electricity receiver and a micro source of this energy.

The issues concerning the functional and operational features of such a station were also discussed during the conference. The participants’ attention was also focused on the applied technological solutions and the conditions of commercialization.
