Economics and mechatronics become the most popular at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Economics, mechatronics and spatial management – these are the most popular fields of study at Gdańsk University of Technology in the 2020/2021 academic year. There were over 15 applicants for one place in these fields of study.

A total of 23,770 candidates (including 23,002 for BA studies) applied for a place in full-time studies, 3,721 people were admitted (including 3,495 for first-cycle studies). The largest number of applications for one place was recorded in the field of economics at the faculty of management and economics (16.9 people per place), mechatronics at the faculty of mechanical engineering (15.8) and spatial management at the faculty of architecture (15.1).

The highest total number of applications was recorded in the fields of computer science at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Science (1701 applications), Construction at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (1312), Automation, Cybernetics and Robotics at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Science (1180).
