The University of Wrocław is among the 1,527 best universities in the world classified in Times Higher Education – World University Rankings 2021. It took fourth place in Poland and 1001+ in the world. This is a positive change compared to last year when the University was not included in this ranking.

In THE WUR 2021 ranking, universities were assessed in five categories: Teaching, Research, Citations, Industry Income, and International Outlook.

THE WUR belongs to the group of the world’s four most popular academic rankings, the so-called Big 4 Group, which also includes ARWU, QS and US News Global. Each of the rankings evaluates universities on the basis of various criteria, and therefore the position in each of them can be different. For comparison, the University of Wrocław is placed in the range of 801-1000 in the QS ranking.
