Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz) has signed a license agreement with the intergovernmental organization for ensuring the safety of air navigation in Europe EUROCONTROL for the use of EUROCONTROL-Light Simulation Capabilities and Platform for Experimentation (ESCAPE Light).

ESCAPE Light is a simulation platform made available free of charge by EUROCONTROL to interested research and teaching organizations around the world, allowing for real-time training, research and development in the field of air traffic management (ATM).

University of Rzeszów emphasizes, that the contract is the result of two projects implemented by the PRz under the SESAR 2020 program (Pj06 ToBeFREE and PROSA) in cooperation with EUROCONTROL and over a year of efforts to continue cooperation in the scientific and educational area under the ESCAPE Light program.
