The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań begins cooperation with the Wikimedia Polska Association, the only official representative of the Wikimedia Foundation. Scientists will edit scientific, biographical and Wiktionary entries, as well as add new entries into the online encyclopedia and improve issues related to their research interests.

Cooperation with Wikimedia Polska will apply to both teaching and research. Scientists will undertake activities as part of individual and team projects, and invite students to cooperate in creating one of the most famous sources of online knowledge.

The first actions include the Belarus project, in which scientists, together with Belarusian Wikipedia, will supplement entries in the field of Polish history, and Academic Poznań, where the authors will focus on disseminating the history of the University and the research results of Poznań university employees on Polish Wikipedia.
