Students of the University of Warsaw (UW) took first place in the Academic Polish Championship in sports bridge. They were followed by players from the Warsaw University of Technology and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

The event was attended by nearly 140 players representing 19 universities. Students competed in pair and team tournaments.

28 teams took part in the team competition. The best team from the University of Warsaw including Krzysztof Cichy, Tomasz Kiełbasa, Piotr Jasiński and Maksymilian Grochowski. University of Warsaw students won with bridge players representing the teams of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Lublin University of Technology.

65 teams competed in the pair competition. The first place was taken by Igor Łosiewicz and Łukasz Witkowski from the Kozminski Academy in Warsaw. Next places were taken by pairs from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology.
