Martyna Tarczewska, a third-year student of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Telecommunications, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering of the University of Technology and Industry in Bydgoszcz, became a scholarship holder of the “New Technologies for Girls” program.
“New Technologies for Girls” is the first scholarship program in Poland for young women planning their future with the technology industry. This initiative aims to encourage girls to become interested in new technologies and undertake technical studies.
The scholarship holders will receive financial support, and will also be under the care of a mentors – experienced Intel employees. They will receive a scholarship of 12,000. PLN, which will cover part of the expenses of their studies. Some of them will be invited to take part in the internship program at Intel Technology Poland Sp. in Gdańsk – the largest Intel research and development center in Europe.
