-Protection of human life from conception to natural death is not an ideology, a question of politics or worldview – it is the foundation of our civilization and identity – emphasize in a joint appeal by the Collegium of Rectors of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow.

The Colleges of Rectors of these Catholic universities emphasize that in the face of the unrest which we are witnessing in Poland with regard to the issue of abortion, they wish to recall that “the right to life is a fundamental right of every human being, also in the prenatal period of his development”.

-We call on all sides of the social dialogue to talk and realize responsibility for the situation in which we all are now. An indispensable element of such a dialogue is the mutual respect of all parties, aimed at developing methods of resolving the conflict that has arisen, first of all, by searching for the truth- highlighted the representants of the Catholic high schools.
