This year, the University of Lodz (UŁ) will start implementing a program on entrepreneurship in the education of its students, offered in a hybrid form (stationary and remote).
The program of entrepreneurship classes is developed by the Entrepreneurship Council operating at the university, initiated by the Vice-Rector of the University of Lodz, Prof. Agnieszka Kurczewska. The council is composed of experienced representatives of business, culture and media, graduates of the University of Lodz.
-We want to teach students to think entrepreneurially – said Prof. Agnieszka Kurczewska. The Vice-Rector of the University of Lodz wants the classes to not to be just entrepreneurship classes, but classes that stimulate entrepreneurship for young people.
This approach includes the entire philosophy of the contemporary understanding of entrepreneurship. We are no longer talking about the personality traits that distinguish entrepreneurs, nor we are talking about their typical specific behaviors. What distinguishes entrepreneurs from non-entrepreneurs is the way of thinking: and, consequently, the way of making decisions – said Prof. Agnieszka Kurczewska.
