On March 17-19, 2021, the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw is organizing an online international congress of geographers about Latin America, which will include the 22nd Polish-Mexican Symposium and the 3rd Polish-Colombian Symposium.

During the event, researchers of the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Geography and the Faculty of Urban Planning and Regional Planning of the Autonomous University of Mexico, University of Manizales (Colombia) and other European and Latin American centers will share their research experiences.

The organizers assume that the congress will focus on the issues of “local and regional challenges in the context of the implementation of the sustainable development goals”. They are also confident that the event will be an opportunity to generate scientific input to tackle the problems of sustainable development in Latin America.
