Edyta Wysocka, student of the Rzeszów University of Technology has created an architectural design of a sanatorium in Bircza as part of her engineering diploma thesis, under the supervision of Prof. Eng. Marek Gosztyła.

The implementation and selection of the topic resulted from the observation of the needs of the society, the problem of an aging society and the desire to improve the mental and physical condition of people – said Edyta Wysocka.

The Rzeszów University of Technology emphasizes that “work is an important element extending functionality of health resorts in Poland, which is distinguished by a harmonious fit in terms of architecture with the surroundings, without degrading natural goods. Significant themes during the implementation included people, nature and architecture”.

The work of Edyta Wysocka was handed over to the head of the Bircza commune, because it may be helpful in developing the architectural and program concept of the spa in Bircza.
