Several hundred students of the University of Bialystok learn how to implement turnkey projects in practice. Project work in cooperation with employers is one of the tasks of the project “Forges of Competence” implemented by the Eastern Technology Transfer Center of Bialystok University.
Students participating in the projects are provided with practical classes in groups of several people, supervised by practitioners from companies or offices – informs Dr. Karina Sachpazidu-Wójcicka, director of the Eastern Technology Transfer Center. Establishing cooperation with local employers allows students to master their practical skills expected by the employers.
As part of the “Forges of Competence” projects, the university has already established cooperation with 36 employers. Among them are: Telewizja Polska, Polskie Radio Białystok, Podlaski Voivodship Office, Voivodship Labor Office, Białystok Waterworks, police, and Central Statistical Office.
