University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn to extend the Forensic Laboratory

The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn will receive over 600,000 PLN for the development of modern scientific infrastructure. The funds will allow to expand and modernize the Forensic Laboratory. 

The funds for development are allocated under the “University of Great Opportunities” program, which aims to improve the quality of education process management and the quality of teaching, implemented at UWM from 2019 to 2023, and is financed by the National Center for Research and Development. The University of Olsztyn emphasizes, that this will be probably the largest amount that the Faculty of Law and Administration of the UWM obtained for research equipment for teaching in its 20-year operation.

The Forensic Laboratory will be equipped with computer hardware along with specialized software and devices that will enable advanced research in the area of ​​cybercrime, phenomena in social pathologies in the Internet, digital evidence and information analysis. The new equipment of the studio will allow to increase the attractiveness of the teaching process.
