The European Center of Innovative Technologies for Health was established at the Silesian University of Technology. Its mission is to create, develop and implement innovative medical technologies to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The great challenge of today is the possibility of early detection of diseases and then their effective treatment. In order to implement tasks in the field of modern health technologies, it was decided to create an independent unit at the Silesian University of Technology that would conduct interdisciplinary research, service, information, training and promotion activities in this area.

The main tasks of the Center include conducting research, as well as postgraduate studies and other forms of education. The unit will deal with the development and implementation of modern technologies and medical devices, as well as the organization of conferences and seminars. It will also cooperate with other units and enterprises to implement joint projects.
