Prof.  Eng. Józef Gawlik, the rector of the Krakow University of Technology in 2005-2008, expert and specialist in the Construction and Operation of Machines and Production Engineering, received an honorary doctorate from Lublin University of Technology.  

The scientist deals with issues of automation of manufacturing processes, quality systems, process diagnostics. He conducted over a dozen research and implementation projects commissioned by the industry. The Professor’s academic achievements include 11 scientific monographs (some published in Germany) and over 250 publications (including publications in foreign journals). He is the author or co-author of 13 patents, manager of 14 implementation works and 5 goal-oriented projects.

Prof. Józef Gawlik is an honorary doctor of the Koszalin University of Technology, Khmelnytsky National University in Ukraine and an honorary professor at the University of Miskolc in Hungary.
