The University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań, took second place in the ranking of Polish universities in terms of website availability. 50 universities took part in the study. 

The ranking was based on a report prepared by Kinaole Solutions in February – March 2021. The aim of the study was to draw attention to the issue of accessibility and universal design on the example of the availability status of the main websites of universities in Poland.

The authors of the report understand accessibility as adapting products, services (not only digital ones) and space to be used by as many people as possible, including people with permanent, temporary or situational constraints. The general assumption is that there are no obstacles to get easy access to information for people with various visual, auditory, motor, cognitive and intellectual disabilities.
