Until June 10, students can apply to the Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The University has prepared 165 for candidates wishing to study at this elite PhD school. Currently, 327 young scientists are educated there, including 30 foreigners.
– Last year was very successful for our PhD students. They have been laureates of many prestigious awards and distinctions, incl. the Jan Mozrzymas scholarship for PhD students awarded by the Wrocław Academic Center, a prestigious scholarship in the “Diamond Grant” program or awards from the Wincenty Styś Scholarship Committee for outstanding achievements in the field of social sciences and humanities – says Dr Eng. Agnieszka Wyłomańska, vice-dean for doctoral students quoted on the website of the University of Science and Technology.
All doctoral students receive a scholarship of 37 percent of professor’s salary. After the mid-term evaluation – after two years of training – the grant may increase to 57% of professor’s salary.
