Three scientific disciplines of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology are included in the prestigious Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS). The university maintained last year’s positions in the ranking.
Wrocław University of Science and Technology is ranked highest in the Mathematics discipline (position in the 201-300 range in the Natural Sciences category – the same as last year). The university also maintained its places in the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering (position in the range 301-400) and Energy Science & Engineering (position in the range 301-400) – both disciplines were listed in the Engineering category.
The GRAS ranking results have been published since 2009 by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. In the list, universities are assessed in 54 engineering, life, medical and social sciences. Over 4,000 universities from all over the world have been classified in the latest ranking.
