The Łukasiewicz Research Network and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (UPRP) have signed an agreement on close cooperation in popularizing knowledge about industrial property and commercialization, as well as collecting and disseminating information on the protection of industrial property.
The agreement provides for comprehensive cooperation, which will include organizing trainings and workshops by the PPO and promoting information on the intellectual property among employees of the Łukasiewicz Network, with particular emphasis on industrial property.
In addition, the Łukasiewicz Network and the Patent Office are planning to co-organize conferences related to the support of entrepreneurs and scientists in the areas related to the protection and management of intellectual property and the commercialization of the results of R&D works. The Łukasiewicz Network will join the dissemination of information on the protection of intellectual property, in particular industrial property, by implementing projects, programs and initiatives promoting the importance of intellectual property in the knowledge-based economy.
