The University of Life Sciences (UP) in Lublin has signed a cooperation agreement with 2nd Lublin Union Secondary School. The initiative will encourage the graduates of Lublin secondary schools to stay and choose further education at universities in Lublin.
Under the agreement, secondary school pupils will feel like students and participate in various scientific projects related to ecological knowledge or experimental biology. They will also learn about the principles of the university’s life.
-The cooperation will assume enabling students to participate in lectures conducted by scientists from our university, participating in workshop and laboratory classes, and we will also offer assistance in the preparation of science Olympiad participants – said Prof. Urszula Kosior-Korzecka, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Teaching at the University of Life Sciences. She added that the school on the part of the school expects students to participate in events organized by the UP and to disseminate information about the university’s educational offer.
